Our client base spans across the Middle East, Europe, and Latin America and includes the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Lancôme, and Make Up For Ever.
Our beginnings take us back to 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. GetBEE was founded by Thea C. Myhrvold, who was previously founded TechMeNow, a globally-recognized EdTech start-up. Inspired by the growing possibilities of knowledge-sharing, she started GetBEE as a one-stop solution for businesses to leverage human capital in the digital age.
Thea knew she had a winning idea and when she realized GetBEE could delight customers by putting sales assistants, consultants, lawyers, and doctors alike at the forefront of digital clienteling. Their expertise could be highlighted in the same way TeachMeNow highlighted each tutor’s specialty areas and facilitated match-making between students and tutors.
Our past clients have included hospitals, clinics, wellness providers, business coaches, consulting offices, and law firms, both in the public and private sector. We are GDPR-compliant and have taken our clients’ data privacy extremely seriously.

In 2020, we secured a partnership with The Chalhoub Group, the leading distributor of luxury brands across the Middle East, as well as Faces, the Middle East’s leading distributor in the beauty sector. We are today the proud engine behind Digital Concierge platforms for Dolce & Gabbana and Lancôme amongst other luxury houses and beauty retailers. We also continue to power the digital transformation of consulting offices, wellness providers, coding competitions, as well as disability centers in the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, and Africa through both of our business partnerships and Tech For Good initiatives.

Thea is the Founder and CEO of GetBEE. A serial entrepreneur, Thea is passionate about making knowledge accessible. In 2008, she built one of the world’s first EdTech game-based apps for students and later launched TeachMeNow, which she was able to build and scale into a global marketplace for learning. Known for her strong leadership and communication skills, she started GetBEE in 2018 to transform the future of remote expertise. With both Arabic and Norwegian heritage, her international experiences and perspective has shaped her determination to make a global impact.
